Powdered Imidazolidinyl Urea

Antibacterial Performance

It exhibits broad-spectrum antibacterial activity, capable of inhibiting Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts, and molds.


Compatibility

It is compatible with various components present in cosmetics. Experimental results demonstrate that its antibacterial capability remains unaffected by surfactants, proteins, and other special additive ingredients in cosmetics.


Applications

Suitable for various leave-on and rinse-off products, including creams, lotions, shampoos, and wet wipes.

Generally recommended dosage: 0.2% to 0.5%.

pH application range: 3 to 9. It can be added within a broad temperature range (< 80°C).

Enhanced preservative effect when used in combination with parabens and IPBC (3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate).

Compatible with various surfactants, proteins, and most cosmetic ingredients.
